Online Advising and Support
Any good online program offers advising and support, but at Cardinal Stritch University, it's a little different here.
One of the first things you will receive after you enroll in a program is your "Schedule of Success." It's designed with online learners in mind. This timeline will help keep you on track, not just with completing your degree, but also with creating a robust, well-rounded portrait of you for potential employers.
Part of the Stritch experience is for you to meet regularly with advisors, career services staff, and professionals in your field. Depending on the program, you'll have real world experience in the form of research, internships, study abroad, and service learning to prove your skills. You'll learn how to present your experiences in a professional development portfolio that speaks to employers and helps you get the job you want.
We support new students of all types. For us, this doesn't mean just "new to Stritch." Maybe you've been away from the classroom and you're not sure if you can be successful in an online classroom. If you've been out of school for five years or longer and you qualify, you can take our Passages course, which will prepare you to be successful.
